Clase Azul
Clase Azul is a world-renowned name in the tequila market. The brand comes from the small town of Jesus Maria, in Mexico, and is equally revered for its hand-painted ceramic bottles as it is the quality of its spirits.
The tequila is made with 100% organic Weber Blue Agave from the rich land of Jalisco. The agave hearts are cooked in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours, before being fermented and double-distilled. One of the most unique aspects of Clase Azul is the packaging, as each expression is presented in a unique ceramic bottle, made in Santa María Canchesda. With designs inspired by Mexican culture, these have become collectors items in their own right.
The Clase Azul range includes a variety of expressions. The Reposado has been aged in oak barrels and was awarded Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. It has lovely earthy notes from the agave, combined with a vanilla sweetness and warming finish. For something with more flavour, the Clase Azul Gold takes the Reposado and combines it with their unaged Plata and an Anejo, which has been aged in American oak and finished in sherry casks.
There are plenty of unique Clase Azul bottles to collect and you can do so right here at House of Malt.
