Kilchoman Machir Bay is a bold and well-balanced single malt that embodies the rugged beauty and smoky tradition of Islay. Produced at Kilchoman Distillery, Islay’s first farm distillery in over a century, Machir Bay reflects the distillery’s commitment to traditional methods and innovation. Established in 2005, Kilchoman has become renowned for its craft approach, using 100% Islay barley and floor malting for some of its whiskies, as well as focusing on full traceability from grain to glass.
Named after Islay’s iconic Machir Bay, this flagship expression is a vatting of bourbon and Oloroso sherry cask-matured whiskies, creating a harmonious balance of smoke, sweetness, and complexity. Bottled at 46%abv, unchillfiltered, and with natural colour, Machir Bay delivers an authentic Islay whisky experience.
